Located adjacent to the world-renowned Mayo Clinic, Discovery Square is the new home for the future of biomedical research and technology innovation. Taking advantage of unrivaled proximity and access to Mayo Clinic, Discovery Square will offer start-up, early phase, and established companies the opportunity to collaborate in the development of what’s next in technology and therapy advancements. Phase 1 of Discovery Square includes an 81,000 square foot bioscience building with approximately 150 surface parking stalls. The building will be anchored by a program of Mayo Clinic, bioscience industry, and other private sector partners. This Discovery Square project was designed by RSP and HOK Architects With Mortenson Construction as the general contractor

PROJECT SCOPE

MG McGrath Surfaces division fabricated and installed a custom aluminum plate wall panel system in our D-Set Rain screen profile for the project. The team also fabricated and installed over 16,000 square feet of Nichiha Illumination Series in 3 custom colors and over 4,000 square feet of Nichiha ribbed fiber cement panels with associated trim and flashings
