Boston Scientific’s new skyway links existing buildings 3 and 10 on their Arden Hills campus
PROJECT INFORMATION
Boston Scientific is a global medical device manufacturing company with the corporate goal of improving the health and lives of patients all over the world with innovative medical solutions. Boston Scientific’s location in Arden Hills Minnesota operates as their Rhythm Management division, which is responsible for developing and marketing products to treat irregular heartbeats, heart failure, and prevent cardiac arrests. This particular campus houses several buildings for Boston Scientific workers, and the growing need to get from building to building became largely apparent. A new skyway now links existing buildings 3 and 10 on their Arden Hills campus for faster, safer, and weather protecting travels on campus
PROJECT SCOPE
Utilizing 5-axis CNC machining for cutting and drilling in our shop, MG McGrath’s Architectural Glass & Glazing team worked with the project team to install the skyway’s Reliance Curtain Wall and Oldcastle Storefront systems. The exterior framing features an Asti paint colored finish, and the interior framing features a Champagne anodized finish
