ST. MICHAEL CATHOLIC CHURCH

ST. MICHAEL, MN

The church pre-dates the city St. Michael which now holds the same name

PROJECT INFORMATION

For over 150 years, St. Michael Catholic Church has served St. Michael, MN and the surrounding communities as a place for worship and sharing in faith. The St. Michael Catholic Church pre-dates the city, and is the namesake of the community. This church is one of four other parish buildings and its current architecture very closely reflects that of common eastern church styles. By 2002, $1.5 million had been pledged to build this new church after a growing worship community and old building sparked ideas of a new gathering space

PROJECT SCOPE

MG McGrath fabricated and installed custom copper roofing domes for the church. Each of the domes on the church features 20oz copper that was fabricated into our own custom S-Seam standing seam panel system with concealed fasteners and batten cap seams
