Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to deliver complete projects with the highest level of quality from start to finish. In this position, you will play a crucial role in developing strong working relationships with the internal project team and general contractors to plan and execute construction projects. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project including take-offs, RFIs, budget management, schedule, progress billings, change orders, and hosting project meetings. The ideal candidate will be an organized problem solver with a strong ability to prioritize and manage time effectively. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Effectively and efficiently manage sometimes 3-4 projects at a time.
- Promote and develop relationships with new and existing customers.
- Provide our customers with the highest level of service and professionalism.
- Understand the scope(s) of the project and obtain the proper approvals.
- Follow the standard operating procedures to provide a consistent method of project delivery.
- Use the functionality of Procore to successfully submit RFIs, budget, and track the productivity of your project.
- Complete a comprehensive take-off, purchase, and track the delivery and payment of project materials.
- Review the project contract and work with the scheduler to determine a project schedule.
- Proactively anticipate issues and changes associated with your projects and adapt to them.
- Mitigate risk for MG McGrath.
- Look for opportunities to reduce project costs while increasing the estimated gross margin.
- Collaborate with the finance and accounting team to submit progress billings each month, track aged receivables, and issue liens if necessary, to protect our financial resources from non-payment.
- Submit job cost projections bi-monthly.
- Travel to projects for on-site meetings when necessary.
- The ability to understand and undertake testing required by the project specifications (i.e. wind load tests, water, structural, adhesion & compatibility testing, etc.)
- Adherence to all safety policies and procedures in the office and on the job sites.
- Complete a closeout document and conduct a meeting at the end of the project.
Specific Required Skills & Knowledge
- Organized, self-starter with the ability to handle numerous projects, phones, prioritize workload, and work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to read, interpret, and understand architectural plans and specifications and provide detailed take-offs.
- Must be able to communicate effectively and conduct themselves professionally, have excellent written and verbal communication, as well as presentation skills.
- Strong conflict management, organizational, and listening skills.
- Able to read and perform mathematical calculations and write measurements at a high school education level.
- Analytical, problem-solving, time management, and technical skills.
- Willingness to learn, growth mindset.
- Customer service (both internal and external customers) and development of external working relationships for future opportunities.

- Identify and manage project risks during the project management process.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and OneNote.
