PROJECT INFORMATION

Kohler’s Creative Communications Center is a state-of-the-art headquarters where their advertising and merchandising teams work out of for Kohler’s brands worldwide. This new center was designed to increase collaboration between all their design teams and to house everyone under one central location. The main building features 100,000 square feet of workspace with a simple design, open concepts, and energy efficiency. The Kohler Creative Communications building was awarded a LEED Gold Certification for its use of sustainable features and building practices like low- or no-VOC-emitting paint flooring systems, the company’s own water-efficient plumbing products, natural landscaping, locally harvested and manufactured materials, and hand-picked energy efficient lighting, heating, and cooling systems

PROJECT SCOPE

MG McGrath fabricated and installed over 20,000 square feet of custom perforated 12 gauge pre-rusted Corten plate panels to form a screen wall at the mechanical roof penthouse.  MG McGrath also provided mounting brackets for the plexiglas on the back of the perforated panels. The custom pre-rusted perforated panels allow the light to glow through creating a rooftop work of art
