PROJECT INFORMATION
The new HealthPartners Neuroscience Center that was recently built in Saint Paul is the largest free-standing neuroscience center in the upper Midwest, and one of only a few in the entire nation. The center brings together nationally recognized programs for stroke, spine care, dementia, Parkinson’s disease, brain and spine tumors, and other neurological disorders. The new building features 4 stories, 130,000 square feet, an on-site lab, x-ray and MRI, a dedicated space for neurological rehabilitation, and access to research & clinical trials
SURFACES PROJECT SCOPE
MG McGrath installed 26,400 square feet of Dri-Design panels throughout the majority of the walls on the project, in Believable Buff, Whole Wheat, Basket Beige, and Elle Gray finishes. The different-colored panels were used to form a pattern selected by the architect. MG McGrath also installed a Soffit System at the main entry canopy and parking garage entrance areas, utilizing 2,200 square feet of panels fabricated from Pure + Freeform in a wood grain paint finish
GLASS & GLAZING PROJECT SCOPE
MG McGrath Architectural Glass & Glazing performed work on both the exterior and interior of the building, including the installation of approximately 36,000 square feet of exterior Old Castle Building Envelope Reliance SS Curtainwall and Viracon glass. Stanley automatic doors were installed at the main entry and an interior glass handrail was installed in the main lobby area
