HAMLINE UNIVERSITY ANDERSON CENTER

ST. PAUL, MN

The Addition of the Anderson Center helped Hamline University expand their campus for students and the community

PROJECT INFORMATION

The Carol Young Anderson and Dennis L. Anderson Center was a 2012 addition to the Hamline University campus, opening up room to accomodate more students and the community. The Anderson Center was built as a social hub for students with large and small meeting rooms, a dining hall, a coffee shop, campus office spaces, and lounge areas both inside with fireplaces and outside on the terrace. This natural gathering space encourages student interaction with each other and the school while providing resources for students in need of a relaxing space to study or meet for a club. The building was designed with many sustainable features including solar panels, sustainable building materials, and energy-efficient glass.

PROJECT SCOPE

Our team fabricated and installed over 8,000 square feet of 1mm interlocking VM Zinc panels in a Smooth Quartz Zinc finish. Additional work included installing louvers and 9,600 square feet of Terra Clad smooth terra cotta track system at the University Center.
