CARLETON COLLEGE MUSIC & PERFORMANCE COMMONS
The addition opened for the new fall 2017 school year and houses the majority of the College’s music program
The new Carleton College Music & Performance Commons is an addition to the Weitz Center for Creativity, and replaced the existing Concert Hall. Since opening in the fall of 2017, the performance space houses the majority of the music program. It features music faculty offices, a music resource library, and teaching studios and rehearsal spaces with high acoustic quality.
MG McGrath Architectural Surfaces worked with McGough Construction and HGA Architects on the college’s new addition, installing exterior aluminum plate panels.
