The Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors’ National Association (SMACNA) has recently chosen winners for their annual Safety Excellence awards and among the winners is MG McGrath Inc. We were recognized as the third place winner in the 400,001 – 500,000 man-hours worked category.
A total of 27 different SMACNA member companies from all over the nation received awards in this year’s competition. Awards were handed out based on overall safety performance with special consideration given to OSHA incidence rates and the total number of man-hours worked.
SMACNA the leader in promoting quality and excellence in the sheet metal and air conditioning industry and this recognition program stems from SMACNA’s yearly safety survey. These awards are designed to not only recognize, but celebrate members who have the lowest injury and illness rates and who continue to adopt a safety culture along with safe practices on the jobsite.
