Victoria Kern serves as a Project Estimator for MG McGrath. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Architecture from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities with a minor in Construction Management. Victoria started at MG McGrath in 2017 as a Virtual Design and Construction Modeler/Drafter and uses her previous experience in drafting, design, and fabrication to provide accurate bids, and aid in design assist projects by working with general contractors and architects to create an efficiently fabricated and assembled façade that follows the design intent. Victoria follows a project through the development process by participating in scope definition and clarification, pre-construction assistance planning, takeoffs, scheduling, and researching associated costs and alternative solutions. She is a dedicated team member with many professional accomplishments including the completion of her OSHA 30 Certification, and program knowledge with Bluebeam Revu, AutoCAD, Revit, and Rhino. Victoria has extensive experience in both the visual and technical aspects of architecture and construction including unique installation conditions, evaluating shop drawings, elevation planning, complex façade integration, and mixed material cladding
