HARDWOOD CREEK LIBRARY
FOREST LAKE, MN
PROJECT INFORMATION
The Hardwood Creek Library has been a community staple for Washington County, MN since 1966 serving over 20,000 local residents. This building is not only home to the library, but also the Washington County North Service Center which hosts licensing services, a career center, public services offices, election voting, and community meeting spaces. In 2007, this facility was built as a part of a $6.2 million project to offer residents more services in one centralized location. It also expanded the library capacity to 24,000 square feet which was four times larger than the original Forest Lake Library.
PROJECT SCOPE
Our team fabricated and installed multiple metal and glass & glazing systems for the new library including all of the framed glass entrances, exterior glass curtainwall, and interior glass wall partitions & handrails.
