THE MARQUETTE HOTEL

MINNEAPOLIS, MN

The redesign showcases Minneapolis’ history and enhances the historic details that have made the hotel unique for over 40 years

PROJECT INFORMATION

The Marquette Hotel in downtown Minneapolis underwent a $25 million renovation to revamp its guest rooms, update its lobby and entryway, add new public meeting spaces, and put in a new restaurant. The 12-story hotel is attached to the tallest building in the state of Minnesota, the 57-story IDS Center. With modern amenities and an updated look, the redesign also showcases Minneapolis’ history and enhances the historic details that have made the hotel unique for over 40 years

PROJECT SCOPE

MG McGrath fabricated and installed custom muntz metal wall panel systems, ceiling panel systems, and planters for the hotel’s lobby. All of the muntz metal systems feature a custom, intricate, waterjet-cut perforated pattern and were finished with a polished clear coat
