The building features 11-stories with 140,000 square feet of space enhanced with historic charm, first-class amenities, and vibrant retail energy
PROJECT SCOPE
MG McGrath fabricated and installed metal on both the interior and exterior of the re-named Andrus Building. The renovated exterior includes wall art to the right and left sides of the building’s main entrance doors. This wall art features back-lit panels with an MG McGrath fabricated metal overlays with a geometric diagonal line pattern. To match the exterior wall art, MG McGrath created a beautiful matching feature wall made of weathered steel and copper for one of the lobby’s interior walls. Additional metal fabricated and installed by MG McGrath on the interior includes column covers made of the same weathered steel and copper as the feature wall. The column covers span from the ground level of the building up to the second floor to keep a consistent, decorative appearance throughout the building. The last pieces of copper MG McGrath fabricated and installed were for The Andrus building fireplace which is clad head-to-toe in 20oz copper. All of the weathered steel done by MG McGrath features our own custom Smokey Blackened Steel finish, and all of the copper features our own custom Sequoia finish. Both metals were topped off with a matte clear coat to preserve the metal’s surface and enhance the weathered look
