PROJECT INFORMATION
First Western Bank & Trust is a full-service financial center providing traditional banking products, trust services, insurance and leasing in the Minot area since 1964. They strive to be the premier financial service institution by building strong community relationships, providing unmatched customer service, and hiring the best employees. With the goal of creating a visual presence while still fitting in with the historical context, JLG Architects was tasked with the design of a new branch facility in downtown Bismarck, ND. Large walls of glass and an open floor plan allow natural light to flow through the entire building
PROJECT SCOPE
MG McGrath worked with JLG Architects and Northwest Contracting on both the interior and exterior of the new First Western Bank & Trust in Bismarck, North Dakota. The exterior building materials include natural slate cladding and blackened steel panels, accentuated with perforated copper screen walls. MG McGrath provided approximately 9,000 square feet of our custom 11 gauge steel plate panel system in one of our custom blackened steel finishes on the exterior façade. We also provided over 6,000 square feet of a custom exterior expanded aluminum panel system with graphics and an exterior soffit panel system with associated flashings in the entry area
