PROJECT INFORMATION
Students in this part of rural Minnesota got a new High School several years ago with all the added amenities. The schools $97 million construction project included advanced science laboratories, high-tech art and music equipment, a recital hall & audatorium, an artificial turf field for sporting events, and a new gymnasium. The 3-story, 450,000 square foot school stands out in a field of farmland and gives even rural public school students the opportunity to get the best education that state has to offer.
PROJECT SCOPE
MG McGrath was contracted to provide and install the exterior glass on Farmington High School. The smaller singular windows consist of Viracon VRE5-67 low energy insulated glass. MG McGrath also installed a Vistawall Reliance curtain wall system, PerforMax high-performance doors, steel-reinforced doors, and sunshades. The largest portion of glass includes 3,000 storefront glass and glazing panels
