PROJECT INFORMATION

This unique facility consists of two buildings connected through a central lobby. One building incorporates the police department, detention area, secured courtyard, offices for police and safety services, dispatch area and locker rooms, and an underground parking garage for police vehicles. Within the second building are offices for all city operations, city council chambers, public meeting areas, and a two-story glass curtain wall that overlooks an outdoor garden

PROJECT SCOPE

MG McGrath was responsible for fabricating and installing much of the exterior of the Edina City Hall Buildings. Our Architectural Surfaces team installed horizontal 1.5″ 20oz copper standing-seam nail strip panels on the exterior facade near the top of the buildings all featuring our own custom Modac copper finish. Our Glass and Glazing team installed two-story glass curtain wall, glass storefront, glass doors & ICU sliding doors, as well as bulletproof glass on the Edina Police section of the building
