Mall of America has updated its theater! MG McGrath Architectural Surfaces was part of the team was tasked to create an exciting new facade for CMX Cinema. Above LEGO Store, facing out towards Nickelodeon Universe is the prominent new façade fabricated and installed by the MG McGrath team. In addition to the facade, MG McGrath Architectural Surfaces was involved in numerous facets and details within the theater ranging from frames to the bars and lounges

PROJECT SCOPE

MG McGrath Architectural Surfaces installed and fabricated multiple features throughout the remodeled CMX Cinema, including a substantial amount of the decorative door and mirror frames, and the large fascia element located above the entrance. MGM D-Set composite wall panels in 4mm PE core aluminum with an anodized bronze finish were used on the front face of the fascia area, entries, and mirrors. MG McGrath Architectural Surfaces also fabricated and installed 16oz copper wall panels with a non-directional brushed finish with a pre-patina finish and clear coat
