PROJECT INFORMATION

The Chase Center is a multi-purpose arena which is home to the Golden State Warriors NBA team. The arena sits on an 11-acre site in San Francisco to be used primarily for basketball and concert/entertainment events. In addition to a state-of-the-art 18,000-seat arena, the Chase Center has two office buildings, 100,000 square feet of mixed-use/retail space, and underground parking. The Arena opened in time for the 2019–20 NBA season

PROJECT SCOPE

MG McGrath fabricated and installed metal for the interior of the Chase Center Arena in a variety of places including the main lobby, theater lobby, Players Club, column covers, and louvers. The main lobby features 9,100 square feet of .125” aluminum in a smooth white finish for the escalator cladding. The theater lobby features 330 square feet of Lorin Industries panels in .090” muntz bronze with a #4 clear satin finish. Both the main lobby and theatre lobby also feature 5,500 square feet of Pure + Freeform’s 3mm aluminum paneling in their custom PFF Wood Grain finish. The interior column covers are made of .080” aluminum from Ryerson with a smooth powder coat to match the rest of the interior 2,019 square feet of total metal was installed for the interior column covers. Interior louver covers feature .125” perforated aluminum from McNichols. 2,389 square feet of these panels were installed with a smooth finish in multiple custom colors depending on the location. The last part of the interior with MG McGrath metal paneling is the Players Campus. The Warriors entrance to the Players Campus is clad in 243 square feet of .125” aluminum panels custom fabricated by MG McGrath. The panels at the entrance feature a custom matched Pantone grey color in a smooth, Kynar paint finish, and the panels inside the Players Campus feature a DE 5391 Sunflower powder coat finish
