ANYTIME FITNESS HEADQUARTERS
Anytime Fitness wanted to create a headquarters for their employees that would model worksite wellness for the entire nation.
As one of the fastest-growing fitness chains in the world, Anytime Fitness wanted to create a headquarters for their employees that would model worksite wellness for the entire nation. Their new 38-acre campus features an 80,000-square-foot 3-story office building, outdoor biking and hiking trails, exercise areas, zip lines, climbing walls, an obstacle course, and adjustable workstations that allow employees to work while standing or moving. In addition to various fitness activities to choose from, the 250 Anytime Fitness employees who call the facility their workplace have access to a smoothie bar that doubles as an alcohol bar, a gaming area, and even a tattoo parlor.
In addition to multiple fitness areas, another thing that the new Anytime Fitness corporate office building features a lot of is glass. Working with the fitness chain, BWBR architects, and the project team, MG McGrath Architectural Glass & Glazing installed Kawneer 1600 curtainwall at the building’s main entry, multi-story south-facing radiused curtainwall overlooking the patio and at entry points in two locations on the building. MG McGrath Architectural Glass & Glazing also installed aluminum storefront framing at the punched opening on the first and second floors of the east and west sides of the building, and glass handrails on the exterior of the main floor and second floor patios. On the interior, there is storefront with Dorma glass sliding doors at multiple locations, as well as glass walls and interior glass handrails leading from the Terrace level up to the main floor, and from the main floor to the second floor . All curtainwall, storefront, and door glass systems throughout the facility have a clear anodized finish.
