PROJECT INFORMATION

With the oil boom in the upper part of North Dakota, the city of Williston has rapidly been expanding to accommodate the influx of people and growing economy. Mercy Medical Center (Now CHI St. Alexius Health) was quickly overwhelmed by the increased number of patents and build this $20 million new addition onto their existing hospital. The 40,000 square feet of added space gave way for a state-of-the-art birthing center and outpatient/ambulatory surgery center open nearly 24 hours a day. The two-story addition now houses over 25 additional patient beds, 4 surgical rooms, and 8 labor and delivery rooms, as well as additional space for postpartum and gastroenterology recovery

PROJECT SCOPE

Our glass & glazing team fabricated and installed the segmented curtain walls and structural silicone glazed curtainwall systems. Installed Oldcastle Building Envelope spandrel and gray-tinted vision glass. Kawneer medium stile entrance systems. Interior heavy glass walls with Skyline Design Art glass. Interior Aluminum storefront systems. Wagner glass handrail system.  Design drawings and erection of custom aluminum LED backlight cross was created by MG McGrath with custom fabrication and finishing
