Metal Construction News just announced their 2025 Project Excellence Awards and the University of Minnesota’s Fraser Hall Chemistry Undergraduate Teaching Lab has won in the Retrofit & Renovation Category.
Fraser Hall was originally built 95 years ago and was reimagined for this 2025 project. The existing hall underwent extensive renovations which included a new addition onto the building. Fraser Hall now has 117,000 square feet of space for the University of Minnesota’s undergraduate chemistry disciplines. This renovation and remodel project included modern laboratory equipment upgrades, 18 state-of-the-art science laboratories, and new interior and exterior cladding systems fabricated and installed by our team.
Congratulations to the entire Fraser Hall project team and to all of the other teams of the winning MCN Project Excellence Awards.
