Luke Rassmussen currently serves as a Project Manager for MG McGrath. He has over 15 years of experience in the construction industry and first joined the MG McGrath team as a field worker in 2008 before becoming a Project Manager in 2011. Luke studied Business Economics at the University of Minnesota, Duluth, and also completed an apprenticeship with the Sheet Metal Workers International Association Union Local 10. As a Project Manager, Luke works directly with construction managers, architects and consultants to establish project criteria as it develops, including delineation of scope, budgeting, scheduling and performance requirements. Luke works closely with the estimating team to maintain and update the project budget and maximizing efficient resource utilization through the procurement of materials, fabrication and equipment according to the prescribed schedule, and with the MG McGrath drafting, shop and field departments to coordinate the implementation of various operations, including drafting, virtual design and construction (VDC), and mechanisms for resolving conflicts.
