The Minneapolis Heritage Preservation Commission, The Minneapolis Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, and Preserve Minneapolis announce the recipients of this yearʼs preservation awards. The partners honor exemplary projects, individuals, and community organizations that celebrate and enhance the heritage and historic character of Minneapolis.
These awards highlight the yearʼs best achievements for transforming a historic property, building, or landscape and reinventing it to incorporate both new and old elements in a way that that is respectful to the past. Projects are judged on attention to the quality of design, architecture, workmanship, and materials as well as the positive impact on the surrounding neighborhood and community.

MG McGrath Architectural Glass & Glazing’s Scope of Work: MG McGrath Architectural Glass & Glazing worked alongside Kraus Anderson and ESG to restore this 1920′s era limestone building that overlooks Loring Park and the Minneapolis skyline. The renovation turned the 160,000 square-foot iconic office building into 75 luxury apartment. MG McGrath Architectural Glass & Glazing fabricated and installed 1/2 inch clear tempered glass shower doors and mirrors in all the units of the building.
