One of the most stately music venues, Orchestra Hall in Minneapolis, recently got a much needed modern face-lift, as the exterior of the hall is undergoing a major $50 million renovation that should be finished sometime in 2013. While the changes to the interior and the glorious auditorium itself will be far more subtle, the outside of the 38-year-old Orchestra Hall is getting a fresh, exciting upgrade that will boldly bring the aging building into the 21st Century while anchoring the corner of 11th Street and Nicollet Mall well into the future.  -City Pages
