St. Katherine’s Ukrainian Church was designed and built in a 17-century Ukrainian style of architecture common for religious buildings of this time period. The traditional, iconic style and shape of the church domes were originally designed to prevent snow accumulation, and are now a distinctive feature on many Ukrainian churches. The five domes symbolize the five prominent religious figures of the Eastern Orthodox faith. The building about 4000 square feet including a plaza, narthex, choir area and can accommodate about 200 worshipers.  It is 90 feet to the top of the cross on the central cupola.  Exterior materials are white stucco with precast art stone trim. The cupolas of the church and the roofs of the parish hall are standing seam copper and the interior design makes good use of natural light

MG McGrath fabricated and installed the five copper domes and additional copper roofing on to the church. 20oz copper was custom fabricated for the domes of the church. The additional roofing of the church consists of 16oz copper standing seam roofing panels fabricated into our own custom D-lock panel style

McGrath didn’t just show us what the next steps were, they took them with us. The project came out better than we imagined because they were involved.
