The underutilized 23- acre Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park, which sits across the river from downtown Tampa, underwent a $35 million expansion and renovation in order to keep up with its blossoming urban surroundings. The renovation provided an open green space for guests to congregate, dine, experience outdoor concerts, events, and stroll along Tampa’s expanded Riverwalk. The revitalized park will now be a catalyst for new growth in West Tampa

MG McGrath Architectural Surfaces fabricated and installed nearly 4,000 square feet of 8mm Swiss Pearl Fiber Cement Rain Screen. These panels feature three different finishes and were installed with corresponding hat channels. Also fabricated and installed by MG McGrath’s surfaces team was nearly 5,000 square feet of aluminum mesh screens with a Clear Anodized finish at the River Center and outdoor buildings

McGrath didn’t just show us what the next steps were, they took them with us. The project came out better than we imagined because they were involved.
