The company both designs, fabricates, and installs these systems into McGrath curtainwall systems as well as selectively sources 3rd party specified systems. These systems are integrated to support building performance by reducing solar heat gain, managing glare, and enhancing occupant comfort while maintaining the intended architectural design.
Canopies, Pergolas, & Pavillions
Architectural structures that provide varying degrees of wind, sun and weather protection like canopies, are frequently part of McGrath’s exterior scope as attached systems including free-standing pergolas and pavilions. The company both engineers, fabricates and installs these systems including glass, translucents, panels and perforated panels and selectively sources 3rd party engineered components such as structural steel and framing systems.
Architectural Louvers
McGrath fabricates and installs specified and custom louvers to address sun shading, ventilation, screening and project aesthetics (often to provide architectural interest to a functional element).
Exterior Entrance Metal Systems
MG McGrath fabricates and installs custom entrance metal systems that frame and enhance building entryways. These elements provide durable protection, architectural detailing, and integration with surrounding façade materials.
Column Covers & Beam Wraps
McGrath fabricates and installs custom column covers and beam wraps that conceal structural elements and create a refined architectural finish for both interior and exterior applications. McGrath utilizes the specification to engineer, fabricate and install round classic, smooth, tapered, squares, rectangles, ovals, triangles and custom shapes. In addition the covers may include recessed panels for architectural details, specified and designed branding, accomodations for AV and lighting systems. Capital and base details are determined to meet the application.
Parking Garages & Structures
MG McGrath fabricates and installs custom architectural screen and barrier systems, including parking ramp grilles and screens, balcony screens, guardrails, stairway systems and covers, and specialty screen applications. These systems provide ventilation, safety, screening, and architectural detailing while integrating with the surrounding building and landscape design. These systems may have simple or detailed perforations, designs as well as utilizing aluminum, steel, and specialty metals with a wide range of textures, finishes, or McGrath custom patina options.

Acoustical Panels
MG McGrath fabricates and installs custom decorative metal acoustical systems and panels designed to enhance both sound performance and architectural aesthetics. These systems integrate with surrounding materials while contributing to the overall design of interior spaces.
Decorative Sculptures & Art Installations
McGrath works closely with the architect and design team when decorative sculptures, functional art and unique takes on brand identity are conceptualized for lobbies, plazas, gardens and facades. McGrath engineers, fabricates and installs these custom project features as an included scope item including pre-con/VDC, project management, fabrication and installation and if elected, as part of a Design Assist engagement.
