Job Summary

You’ll own technical accounting work, including lease accounting under ASC 842, revenue recognition, journal entries, and account reconciliations, while also supporting the team through an upcoming ERP implementation. If you’re a strong technical accountant who likes to own their work and learn independently, this is a great opportunity.

  • Perform and monitor account reconciliations

Compliance & Audit Support

  • Provide backup support for state registration and sales/use tax functions, developing a working understanding of those areas

Systems & Process

  • Contribute to process documentation and improvements as the accounting team evolves

Qualifications

Required

  • Strong technical accounting background, including journal entries and month-end close

  • Working knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition
  • Accounting degree required
  • Self-directed and comfortable researching and resolving complex accounting questions independently

Preferred

  • Project accounting experience (this background translates well into the role)
  • ERP implementation experience, or strong technical accounting skills that would support picking it up
