ENR MidAtlantic is proud to announce the winners of its 2014 Best Projects competition, honoring the top projects in Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia and the District of Columbia. Our independent jury recognized 28 projects in 16 categories. Eleven projects were awarded the high honor of “Best Project” in their respective categories. Those projects will advance to the national competition to be considered for a “Best of the Best” national award. All winning projects will be featured in the December issue of ENR MidAtlantic and honored during our awards event on Dec. 12 in Baltimore. One project will also be honored as our Best Overall Project in the region. In addition, the jury will also select winners in the Safety award category. Destined to be one of the finest facilities in the nation, Pegula Ice Arena will be an approximate 200,000-square foot, 6,000-seat state-of-the-art, multi-purpose facility located on the Penn State University Campus. The two-sheet facility will be home to the Nittany Lions beginning with the 2013-14 season and will feature a 5,000-square foot weight room, hydrotherapy training room, steam room, team lounge and locker room area and an XO’s video system. -Penn State Pegula Ice Arena
MG McGrath furnished and installed 14,145 square feet Centria Insulated Panels and 4,646 square feet of Centria Ribbed Panels to the exterior of the building.
