MG McGrath is a provider for the AIA Continuing Education System. The AIA Continuing Education System (CES) program is the largest source of education specifically targeted to the design and building community.
MG McGrath currently offers two programs:
Pressure Equalized Rain Screen (#1981 MG) – Pressure Equalized Rain Screens provide an alternative approach to the back-up wall systems that have been traditionally used in the construction industry. Pressure Equalized Rain screen have become the most consistent choice for applications exposed to substantial rain and wind. Pressure Equalized Rain Screens perform better than other rain screen cladding systems as it incorporates venting in to the systems that allowing for air movement, transferring of winds to the interior wall, reduced loads on panels, and suction forces are stopped eliminating capillary action from occurring at the interior and exterior surfaces
Digitally Defined Fabrication (#1982 MG) – The use of the Digitally Defined Fabrication methods produce opportunities for enhanced collaboration among architects, fabricators and contractors permitting them to all work from the same centralized file called theory in a VDC model. It is significant that each team member builds to that same theoretical location for the project to come together to its entirety on time and on budget.
