MINNEAPOLIS, MN

The Oren Gateway Center is open to students of Augsburg College, and other area colleges, as a sober college living dorm while they attend their respective schools

PROJECT INFORMATION

The Oren Gateway Center at Augsburg is the college’s sober living residence hall. This 118,000 square foot building is the perfect place for students to live, sleep, eat, and study in a unique college dorm living situation centered on recovery, support, and living a healthy life free of drugs and alcohol. In addition to single-bedroom dorms, the Oren Gateway Center also has classrooms, a bookstore, a lounge & cafe, a conference center, and study spaces on the first floor. Recovery services are available through their StepUP program and other students living at the hall are expected to be a recovery ally and assist in making the college a substance-free space for those who need recovery support.
